A special-purpose scale for surveys and field work. The rugged 5602 includes a compact aluminum weighing platform (11" X 11" X 1 1/4") and a cable-connected, portable digital readout in a stainless steel housing. Both are lightweight and easily carried. Weight readings are in pounds and kilos. Disposable flashlight batteries provide sufficient power for more than 10,000 weighings.
